Staging/Grading of LMS?

A friend of mine was recently diagnosed with Leiomyosarcoma She has a tumor the size of a softball in her lungs and another (smaller) in her abdomen. She just recently started chemo to help shrink the larger one as it is inoperable due to location as of yet.... I am not knowledgeable at all about this type of cancer and can't really judge by what she is sharing how severe it is. Any input is greatly appreciated.

The grade is determined by the pathologist. From what little you are saying it sounds like a stage 4 and it is serious. This is a rare cancer and she needs to be treated by doctors who specialize in sarcomas.
