What do you need to become a vet (in the US)?

I've read lots of diffirent things. I was considering a degree in Biology, would this be able to lead me onto a masters in animal sciences in the US? My husband is American and we are planning on moving when I finish my degree.

    getting into Vet school here is extremely difficult. There are only about 28 Vet schools and they are highly competitive.

    If you had a four year Bachelor degree in bio or animal science you could apply to Vet schools. You do not need a Masters.

    Four years of college and then four years of vet school - IF you can get in. It's very competitive.
