things to see in Toronto?

I will be in Toronto for three days the weekend of September 24-26. The Harbourfront marathon is that Sunday and I'm running the half marathon part of it, but will have most of Friday and all day Saturday to see Toronto. I would like to see a Blue Jays game (I'm a diehard Baltimore Orioles fan and they're playing in Toronto that weekend) - is it easy to get last minute tickets or should I get tickets online in advance? I'm not sure how much that stadium sells out. I also would like to see the Ontario parliament building since I work in state government in the US - I always like to see state houses and provincial parliament buildings. Is that worthwhile? And also what else should I see/do in Toronto? I've only heard good things and am very excited about visiting. Thanks in advance for any advice.

You should be able to get tickets to the game either way, no problem.

CN Tower (can be pricy but good view and is right next to the baseball stadium), Ontario Parliament building is pretty, City of Toronto Buildings may be of interest also. LOTS of great restaurants, all ethnicities, anything you want to eat. Ontario Place has an IMAX movie theatre. Take a boat cruise or sightseeing flight from Toronto Island Airport (again could be pricy).

Good luck in the half-marathon, and enjoy your trip!

that's a pity you're actually not coming in July or August while greater factors of interest would be open. there is Canada's Wonderland, Wild Water Kingdom, African Lion Safari, Casa Loma, Niagara Falls, Playdium, Paintball -something for the complete relatives. that's additionally the time of the 12 months for the movie Fest, Chin picnic/fish fry and style coach, Ontaro place, CNE, Bungee leaping, Tightrope Competitions, highway Bands, The Toronto Symphony Orchestra, flavor of the Danforth Greek pageant, Trinidad's Carnival highway social gathering etc etc etc, (way too many to call) a lot of those activities are loose

go to the CN tower its the third tallest building in the world and eat lunch at the top, then go to the CNE they have lots of entertainment there. And thats all i can think of off the top of my head right now :)

Oh wait i thought of another place, look up hippo tours in toronto its kinda expensive, but they take you on a bus through toronto and also take you on a boat around toronto ;)
