Depends, its more of a personal touch.

Xbox has a great online system, but you have to pay for it though.

PS3 has better graphic but a more luckluster online service.

Both consoles however have great exclusives so it really depends on what kind of games you like.

well: it all depends on a lot of things...

firstly, you have got to ask yourself how long you will have the system, and if you will be playing online. Xbox live charges you $50 per year, and the oridinal price is about $100 less then a PS3.

therefore, if you will be using the online option, and will keep it for more then 2 years, it seems onl sensible to get the ps3, which doesnt charge for its online side.

however, if you r not playing onp xboxes that cant go online. this would definately be the best thing to do if you are not planning to play online.

    hope this helps,

Well, if you are someone that likes to play online without paying for it, a ps3 is probably what you want to get, the graphics are pretty much the same and it depends on what kind of games you want to play seeing how some are only for one system. i own a xbox and personally like it more than the ps3.

i own both systems and think there both great,i enjoy them both.the easiest way to pick a system is to figure out which one has the most games that your going to play and which one are all your friends that your going to be playing online with on.that's the system for you.hope this helps.have fun gaming.

    Source(s): own both systems.
