Question answered but site will not accept the completed question?

that was answered on the site before trying to submit to the site. Any information about what is going on would be appreciated. This has been going on for a few hours. thank you

Update:

Yes and I have checked and the answer was not there.

Update 2:

Yes the question was about the the online site after pulling a question and answering the question and trying to submit the completed answer I would get error messages each time for extended periods of time over the last several days. I just wanted to know if we were having problems with the website that some one needed be made aware of.

Are you referring to the 'Yahoo Answers is currently unavailable' page that sometimes appears when attempting to submit an answer?

If so, that's a glitch that occurs here sometimes. Usually when you see that page, the answer DID post. Look for the question under 'My Answers' in your profile. If the question is there, the answer posted.

ADDED: OK, sometimes it doesn't post (I've seen that happen). First, clear your browser cache.

You can try clicking back and forth between the 'unavailable' page and the 'submit' page a few times. Sometimes refreshing the page works, too.

If none of these suggestions works, save the question to your private watchlist (or star it) so that you can find it easily later, and copy/paste and save the text of your answer to your computer. Wait awhile and try again to answer the question.
