Cardinal Walter Kasper stating the obvious?
you only need to take a stroll through my town and you would have to agree. Twelve years ago I would have jumped down his throat if he said that the UK looked like a third world country, but now who but the moronic socialists wouldn't say he was correct.
Helen, I've always said that if someone offered me a house, car, money for not lifting a finger, in the south of France, I'd be gone that day. Then again that will never happen, so why here. Never will I blame the people, but this has to end and end tomorrow.

He was right in what he said and it didn’t take him long to notice the damage of the left-wing legacy.
We have been forced to descend into a place where ‘home’ has someone else’s name on it and the communal stench of disparity is feeding the bitter taste of discontent.
Yes welcome to Third world ‘Britain’ indeed; with all its poverty, barbaric and decadent disease.

Simm, you're right, land at Heathrow, Birmingham or Leeds/Bradford and you really would think you were somewhere like Islamabad. Very large groups of relatives belonging to three generations in the main carrying things like bed-rolls on their heads (the women of course) with luggage trolleys full of cardboard boxes and bundles wrapped in string and plastic! Probably everything but the kitchen sink! A couple of years ago our youngest son had to wait an extra two hours for our flight due to a delay and got into conversation with another lad waiting for family members. They chatted about cars etc and it turned out that the other guy was driving a mini bus to collect 14 relatives coming in on a flight from Pakistan which was also delayed and that two of them, his Grandmother and Great Aunt were coming to Leeds for hip transplants on the NHS!!!!! Two more on the flight were to be officially classed as carers and were to get benefits as such in the UK!!!!! Our son kept in touch, basically out of interest but also because he and his new friend have a mutual interest in 'vintage' cars (over 25 years old, you don't pay road tax!) the elderlies and their carers did their hospital and caring bits and then went home. They were living with various family members in Bradford, had the ops and then went back to Pakistan - no NHS charges - you and i paid for that. Can anyone blame others for taking advantage of lax systems?

i have visited some countries that are not third world and are much worse than Britain , all countries have poor areas
the train service is a nightmare and not as good as europe but i would not term it third world at all
maybe cardinal needs to get out of his lavish lifestyle and visit real third world countries , while he is there he could share his wealth
