car seats in a truck question?
I have a 93 S10 extended cab truck with fold out sideways facing seats in the back. They only have the lap belt no shoulder beat. I have a 4 and 6 year old that sit in booster seats. Is his safe for them?

Booster seats, and lap belts, with no shoulder strap is a killer in an accident. All of the impact will be distributed in the stomach area only, causing sever internal organ damage. Even in a minor crash, when they seem fine, the kids could suddenly go into organ shut-down, due to the trauma.
If there are no shoulder straps, put them in, or seat them in another seat.
This a very serious thing, and should not be brushed off as "I'll get around to it". This could kill a kid.
