Is this a trade worth doing?
He proposed Brandon Jackson for Big Ben straight up. I am thinking of countering with this: I give Brandon Jackson and Zach Miller for Big Ben and Jason Witten.
My roster:
QB Philip Rivers (SD - QB)
WR Miles Austin (Dal - WR)
WR Randy Moss (NE - WR)
RB Steven Jackson (StL - RB)
RB Joseph Addai (Ind - RB)
TE Zach Miller (Oak - TE)
W/R Tim Hightower (Ari - RB)
K Robbie Gould (Chi - K)
DEF Tennessee (Ten - DEF)
Bench:
B Jackson
Breaston
Driver
Crabtree
Jerome Harrison
Ricky Williams
Pros:
I'm worried Jackson's value will continue to decline and I'm not sure how much I would start him.
Witten is an upgrade.
Quality depth at QB
Cons:
Will I ever start Ben? (other than bye week)
I loose depth at RB.
Should I do it?
Forgot to mention it's a PPR league!

Why can't you wait until Week 5 to do the trade? Then, you won't need to rummage for a bye week tight end. To be honest, there's probably tight ends in the FA pile stronger than Miller, but I'd wait to see how Bruce Almighty rallies his Raiders first. I wouldn't dump a starting RB on a high-powered offense for a TE this year.
You have six RB piled up and you're out a backup QB??

You're rich at RB, so I don't think you're giving up much by trading Jackson. You're the second person I've seen who wanted to trade Zach Miller for Witten--there's not that much of a difference between them. In fact, so far this year, Miller has outscored Witten.
Witten projects out higher this week.
