What do you need to play COD MW 2 online for PS3?
My PS3 60 GB hooks up to my home wireless network already. Do I need to buy a membership into something or just the game disc?
I've only played CODMW2 for XBOX360 online and you need XBox live, the network adapter, etc.

Nope. That's the beauty of PS3...connect to the internet, put in the game, and play. It really is that simple.

You need the game and your PS3 connected to the Internet. That is all.
You already have Internet, so go buy the game and start playing away.
And No, you do not have to pay to play on PSN, it is not like Micro$oft's Live that requires pay.

Once you're online you need to sign up to playstation network which you can do from the home screen. It's free.
From there you go to MW2 exactly the same as on the 360 and you're done.

you need the game the system with all the things plunged in a tv or monitor a internet connection that works a ps3 controller (recharged) hope i didn't go to fast for you.

all you need is the video game, and that really is it.
just make sure you make a [FREE] PSN account and you'll be able to play online without hesitation.
