Absolutely. People need a release, so to speak. The longer you go without that release the more stressed out and neurotic you become. I mean just look around at people you know. You can always tell whos getting laid and whos not. It's written in every line in your face how sexually satisfied/frustrated you are.

Theres nothing to be embarrased about when we talk about sex because sex is a part of our life as is food and water. I dont think people who are deprieved of sex quit life. In my opinion it could depend on how active they are sexualy. People who are inactive would live a normal life despite lack of sex while the active ones would look for a partner. Even without a partner, there are ways to fulfill sexual needs in different ways. It all depends on the choices people make.
People who are very sexual but do not satisfy themselves could be somewhat said to be like those who are hungry but choose not to eat. And yes, it will be damaging not only to ones health but also emotionally disturbed. These are the people who are stressed, depressed, and do not live a healthy life.
I feel as a human being, we should accept our limitations on what we can control and what we cant. Sexual needs are one of those that we cant control.
