If I had two periods in one month, is it normal to skip it the next month?

Last month, I had my period at the beginning of the month (as usual), but then again towards the end of the month. Now I'm late and I;m getting worried. I did have sex between the last period and this one, but I took two pregnancy tests and they both said I wasn't pregnant. Is it possible that I'm compensating for the double period last month? Or should I be worried? Thanks

Hey, this happened to me before. It is relatively common for that to happen, and your body will compensate exactly how it has been. You have nothing to be worried about. Good luck! Hope this helps.

It is possible it is just your cycle. Assuming your first period began August 1 and your second on August 30 with today being Sept 24 - only 25 days have passed since your "second" period of the month. If your cycle is 29 days, then you are not even late yet.

If you had unprotected intercourse, the condom broke, and you are not on hormonal birth control, then you should keep better track of how often your cycle occurs. It is possible you could be pregnant but just too early for a kit to tell.
