Money doesn't always determine who wins.

    Mitt Romney lost.

but yeah I see your point; money has too much influence.

the citiizens united v. fec case opened up the doors to corporations deciding our elections.

I don't think that's what the founding fathers had intended.

No, they wanted the Average American to be a part time politician and full time worker, owner, or self employed. They didn't want full time politicians who care more about staying in power then they care about the United States. Neither party has done anything in the past 100 years to protect people's rights to individual choices. It has gotten worse in the past 30 years.

Edit for the person who brought up the Corporate money coming into politics even more, he forgets that the Unions have always had their hands in politics and all this does is even the field a little more. I mean, how stupid do the Democrats think we are? For the past two years Congress and Obama have been trying to push and support Unions more then at any other time and most smart people keep rejecting Unions.

Absolutely not! They wanted each citizen to have a say in the country, regardless of wealth, etc. That is one reason the Virginia Compromise was ratified, so that slave owning states could not count slaves in determining how many Representatives they got in Congress, since population was to determine number of Reps. for each state.

George Washington hated political parties, and I think he and James Madison would be spinning in their graves if they could see what has happened to our country!
