How come we the people have to sacrifice while Congress continues to spend way more then it brings in?

They have lost touch with the concept that the government is there to serve the people, not the other way around. The remedy - Throw them out and start over with those willing to espouse the notion of "we the people".

1st the Bush tax cuts are not being repealed they are expiring. Do nothing and they are all over January 1, 2011

2nd The Democrats plan is to extend 97% of the cuts to stimulate the economy. The last 3% would cost too much, while not adding to the economy.

same concept...its not a democracy in the purest of senses...who has more influence: 1 congressional ******* in a suit with money and power or 20 commoners with the same idea?
