What is the best, safest MP3 music site currently?

Amazon.com, is rated often as being the best, and cheapest web site for mp3 music. Downloading free music is illegal, and you don't know what type of audio quality your going to get. Amazon, also gets Lot's of exclusive songs from the record company's that lots of other web sites don't get. All Amazon mp3's are encoded at very high bit rates between 256-320kbps. They use a variable bit rate setting, which is said to produce even better quality then a fixed bit rate mp3. So you can end up with a mp3 being 211kbps for example, and will produce a file smaller then a 256kbps fixed bit rate mp3. But however will still sound just as good as a 256kbps mp3. Another thing is that, Amazon has a HUGE library of titles to choose from.

Keep in mind though, that the term best is a matter of opinion. Amazon gets the highest marks online, but that doesn't mean it's going to be perfect. No site is.

I use 4shared.com It provides more than just audio including video, images, etc. The down side is that you sometimes struggle when searching for a song. Like if you search the song name with the artist (Not Afraid Eminem), it sometimes won't come up.
