What can I do about this blatant spamming in this category?

Click the Suggestion Board link there.

Find the PINNED THREAD called the Official Spam Battle Thread there.

Start reading about how many of us are working with STAFF approval, behind the scenes, in an effort to control these known mega-spammers. Often, for these, ordinary reporting is not strong enough, but there are others working with you to try to control things like this on that part of the site.

you can report them,which i think is yahoo,s job.you do not own the business.

if you do report,make sure you have at LEAST 2 others report with you.

your credibility drops as a false reporter many times for being the only one trying to help.

i went out of my way last week to report one life in danger report and the most vicious answer

i ever saw.one hour later it was still there getting me mad,only a few it seems can report.

you know what to do.wait until yahoo makes changes here,until then as The Beatles say,

you could report them to yahoo answer team or the other option i would never choose ignore them.

keep reporting them I know they are a nuisance and they are all over the site but that's all we can do.

You report them. that is the problem, too many user can't be bothered.
