Should I go to a doctor for my hiccups?
Even when I was in the womb, every time my mom would eat, I would start to hiccup. I'm 20 now and have serious problems hiccuping. I don't hiccup at a certain time of day or after eating, rather it happens randomly throughout the day in long spurts. The type of hiccuping I have can't be easily cured by all the traditional and odd methods and instead goes on for hours. Should I see a doctor? What could possibly be wrong?

Hiccups are caused by involuntary spasms of the diaphragm so perhaps you have some diaphragm defect and perhaps that defect can be treated by a doctor.
A spoonful of peanut butter often helps so perhaps you could try that. If it works perhaps you could cultivate a taste for peanut butter.
