numbness in my fingers?

I'v been getting tingling feelings in my fingers recently.. and sometimes a pain in my wrists.. is it serious?

Update:

I'm 15.. and pretty healthy.. im not diabetic but my family has a history of MS.. I spend a lot of time on the computer, could it be carpal tunnel?

    Well, that depends on many things: age, weight, medical condition. Are you a diabetic? What kind of work do you do? What are you doing when the numbness occurs? Is it debilitating or just bothersome? It may be poor posture or something more involved. Hard to say based on your description.
