What do you think about WoW Version 4.01?

Well a LOT has changed, and I have 5 max level characters. The changes are so drastic, I think it’s doing to take me a few days to figure things out…for each character.

For example, last night on my Disc Priest, I was kicking ***. I was using Flash Heal, and healing for 9-10k each time. This used to be like 4k. So this spell is about twice as powerful as it used to be.

I’m also able to heal while I cast a damaging spell called Smite on enemies (and nearby allies get healed). So during a boss fight (when the Shaman used Bloodlust) I managed to get 4000 DPS while healing and keeping everyone alive.

Then I tried my hunter (my main). I did a DPS test on a test dummy, and I seem to be about 1000 DPS lower than normal. I was hovering around 5k DPS, which is piss poor for his gear and the fact that he’s a pure DPS class.

It’s possible that the new changes (like focus instead of mana) is just something I need to adjust to. Perhaps my DPS will actually be higher once I do. (I’ll have to read up on elitistjerks.com to help me figure things out faster.)

Also, I'm a bit upset that Volley was removed from the game. It was such a great AOE ability.

I specced my Druid, but didn’t actually do an instance yet. Man, it’s weird now that Tree form is a temporary buff!

I haven’t even logged on to my 80 DK and my 80 Paladin.

I feel like I got effed.. no lube.

but I guess change was inevitable

just gonna take some getting used to

till then.. it is so frustrating!
