Is a black and white dress suitable for a wedding guest?

I know it's not right to wear a black or a white dress but is it okay to wear a black AND white dress to a wedding as a guest?

    100% yes.

It's considered wrong to wear all black as black is associated with funerals, although you can get away with it if you dress it up with brightly coloured accessories.

It's frowned up to wear all white as traditionally the bride wears all white and you could be mistaken for the bride, or seen as though you were competing with her for attention.

To wear a mixture of the two is absolutely fine.

Of Course it is. And I always wear black to a wedding. It makes me look skinny. I don't do it, for disrespect. As a matter of fact, half the wedding guests wear black. So don't feel back about wearing black and white.

Yes definitely for sure. Just add jewellery with a bit more colour in it along with the heels and just wear light make-up (other than black or white). Just keep your accessories exciting and your answer is yes!

So much depends on the outfit. If I were the bride, I would not care as long as you were not upstaging me. Is this a suit or a slutty dress? How abstract is it? Whatever you do, do not draw attention to yourself on this day

hell yes..it is totally ok...white and dress is the best combination..look so stunning( i mean after the bride) that everyone is looking at you( i mean not making fun but they think you look stunning in that dress)

I guess so, as long as it isn't heaps black or heaps white. You don't want to end up looking like you've just been to a funeral, and you don't want anyone thinking you're the bride! :)
