How long after losing your mucous plug did labour start?

With my first ... I started losing it at 33 weeks ... he was born at 38 weeks exactly.

With my second ... I started losing it at 34 weeks ... he was induced at 39 weeks --- I had sat at 3cm, 90% effaced and -2 station for 4 weeks.

I started losing my mucus plug at about 36 week's, but my daughter didn't want to make an appearance until I was 9 day's overdue and that was because I had a sweep done.

It's hard to say... You can lose you mucus plug around 25 weeks at the earliest & still go to full term.

Depending on how far along you are, I would say any day now.

i have 2 children and both times i lost myplug the day i had them!! mind u i was 10 days past my due date with both of them, but i do know some people who have lost their plug a week before giving birth!

i lost my mucus plug the day i had my daughter but you could still lose it and not go into labour for a while:)

I didn't lose my plug until I was in the start of labor. I was at the hospital when it came out. Congrats on your soon-to-be arrival!!! :) So exciting!

Yea everyone is different. I lost mine and exactly one week later my water broke and 24 hours after that i had my baby. Good luck! :)
