How do bearded dragons drink water?

He will not drink a lot as he will gain moisture from his food but keep his water bowl filled as he may take a sip from time to time.

Bearded dragons very rarely drink. They are desert species so they are "adapted" to retain more water. I've had mine for 3 years and have never seen him drink.

But bearded dragons can't see still water very well, so you can buy a fish tank pump with an airstone and put that in the water, he will be able to see it better then.

But the fact he's not eating vegetables is a little worrying, I would keep a close eye on him and take him to the vets if he doesn't eat soon.

If there is a water bowl inside of his tank then he should be drinking, if you really really want to know if he is drinking then you can put a little tiny bowl in his cage with a little bit of water and in about one or two hours the water should be gone, but if it is not completely gone within 4 or 5 hours then I would take him to a vet. but you should change the water once every two days, or just make 100% sure that he has fresh water 24/7. attempt dropping some water on the top of his nostril and he will stick his tongue out to drink it. and spray around the cage too using fact if he sees the water shifting and hes thirsty he will drink it. additionally fill a sprint bowl of water up and if he is going in it he will see it shifting and drink it. Bearded dragons opt for to pass in water no count number if it quite is interior the cage.

this is a desert species so most of the water comes from their food. also i have Been told they are able to absorb it through their skin. if they are very thirsty they will drink like a dog in their water dish but they always have a source

Yes he will use the water dish. He should be eating veggies.
