89 Nissan Sentra automatic, I can't remember if you check the trans with the?

enigne running as in most cars or with the engine off like some of the foreign cars do.

    Engine running with the car in neutral. The car must be warmed up as well. Star the car put it in neutral and let it warm up a bit, than check the fluid.
