Better romantic anime?

Question

It's a B-Day present for a girl (high school senior) who loves anime, but she's seen most of the popular stuff already (Chobits, Fruits Basket, Ouran Host High School etc)


So should I choose: 

1. Please Twins 
2. Princess Tutu
3. Please Teacher  (I'm thinking this is older so she might have seen it already?)


Or is there something else that came out within the last 2 years that's even better?

I highly recommend you choosing Please Teacher for her.

But, I highly recommend these other animes that are just as good as Please Teacher:

Romeo x Juliet
Kanon 2006

Angel Beats! is definitely the way to go; it's the most beautiful, hilarious anime I've ever seen! :D But it just premiered two seasons ago so you might not be able to order it... In that case I would suggest Toradora! or Kimi Ni Todoke. Both really fit the genre you're looking for...

Clannad + Clannad After Story

It does have romance in it, and it has school life. But it is also very sad. But I guess you could call it a romance anime, watch it!! :D
