Why not just use the freebird rule?
Wouldn't it have made more sense if all members of Nexus could be tag champions instead of having Otunga just lie down like that? Just seems kinda pointless

I don't understand why they ended a good thing with Drew Mcintyre and Cody Rhodes just to do that stupid stunt like that, its bs like that, that killed the popularity of pro wrestling and proves they have no intentions to bring the Prestige of those titles or the tag team division.

I heard other people talking about this last night and they are already doing that with LayCool which isn't really going that well.
I think the lie down was better because it allowed Wade to humiliate David, Justin and Heath to get the titles without having to beat the vastly superior Dashingly Sinister. I think lie down matches are terrible but this did have a point because for the first time Wade has hurt someone in Nexus and the only one standing up for him was John Cena.

i agree. i thought that when cena and otunga were chosen to represent nexus they would be using the freebird rule. i didn't realize the titles wouldn't apply to the whole faction like they have in the past

Agreed, Im happy Gaberil has a belt but come on need they deminish the tag titles anymore.
After nearly two years of rebuilding the titles with JeriShow, Show - Miz, The Hart Dynasty and now this?

it was to tease the idea of Cena being forced to take the dive -- and I think on some level to put a little more foundation into future internal conflct in Nexus

Yeah but for the last few years WWE has decided not to use what we call COMMON SENSE.
