When asking a question, how do I attach a link?
I noticed some people's questions have a web address that is black and just sits there. Other people's link is in blue, and you can click on it be directed to that site. How do I get my link to be live, in blue, not just dead, in black?
http://www.yahoo.com/ . Look! I followed the advice I've recieved thus far, and the link is still dead. I cut and pasted thenurl for Yahoo. But it looiks dead to me.
This link above should appear in BLUE as a live link. I followed the copy and paste instructions. But it's still dead in black, not live in Blue! What else can I do?

In order to cut spam to post a hyperlink to photo bucket, Flickr or any other site you must be at least on the 2nd level, minimum 250 points. When you reach that level: Left click on the URL to highlight it then right click and from the drop down menu left click on copy then go to where you want to put the URL, right click and from the drop down menu left click paste then double space.

When you have the site OPEN, just go to the address bar and 'copy' the link location. Some people try to slide the cursor across the address to highlight it and then copy it, but if you miss a portion of it, the link will appear BLACK as opposed to the blue 'active link'. I just Select All (Cntrl A) and Copy (Cntrl C) and then Paste it (Cntrl V).

Picture with Question or Answer
You have to have an account with one of the photo sharing sites like Flicker or Photo Bucket. Upload the picture to the photo sharing site.
Then you can get the URL and paste it to your question. To get the URL in Photo Bucket left click next to direct link on the script one time, it will turn blue, then right click on it and select Copy.
Open the question box and right click on the body of the box and select Paste.
With Flicker, on the top right click Share This-> a box will open click Grab Link, then right click on the script and select copy. Go to your question and in the body of the question right click and select paste.

To get a link, go to the web page you want and right click on the URL and select copy. Go to your Q or A and in the body of your Q or A right click and select Paste.
A URL is near the top of the page and always begins with http://
