Maternity leave Disability Question?

Hello, I'm 36 weeks pregnant and I have to apply for disability. I work in New Jersey and I live in New York, I was wondering for which state I have to apply for my disability? Do you know any of the state websites where I can find the application for disability for either New York or New Jersey?

To the previous poster, you can take disability to get paid while you are out of work recovering from delivering the baby.

That it what paid for my maternity leave. each and each coverage is diverse. Mine paid no longer something for the 1st 2 weeks AFTER transport; after that it paid 60% of my earnings. back, regulations fluctuate by skill of employer so which you will ought to envision.

Why do they call it disability? As long as your pregnancy is a normal, non high risk pregnancy it is NOT a disability.
