Can a human being be without sin?

SINS

Commission is sin,

the priest says that’s true,

but is omission a sin

when I can’t lie to you?

We’ll be punished for deeds,

so we’ve been taught,

but the mind sows the seeds,

so we’ll be punished for thoughts.

How can we control

the evil within,

is there no pure soul

that exists without sin?

Update:

No thumbs down are from me.

I like this poem in that it questions the ridiculousness of certain religious teachings that actually only create fear and hopelessness and confusion.

Sin is one of those words invented, taught and written ABOUT God, from man's point of view, that has nothing to do with inner spiritual connection to one's creator, and everthing to do with fear and control.

We are all sinners in the sense that we cannot perfectly imitate God’s glorious qualities, such as his love and justice. Therefore, the Bible says: “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23) The Bible teaches that sin is the cause of death. “The sting producing death is sin,” says 1 Corinthians 15:56. Our inheritance of sin is also the underlying cause of sickness. Jesus indicated that there is a link between sickness and our sinful condition. He said to a paralytic, “Your sins are forgiven,” and the man was healed.—Matthew 9:2-7.

How does Jesus’ death help us? The Bible contrasts Adam with Jesus Christ and says: “Just as in Adam all are dying, so also in the Christ all will be made alive.” (1 Corinthians 15:22) By laying down his life, Jesus paid the price for the sin that we inherited from Adam. Thus, all who exercise faith in Jesus and obey him will receive what Adam forfeited—the prospect of everlasting life.—John 3:16; Romans 6:23.

this is the false understanding of man who see only with ones eyes at the event that surround him. These are the eyes of the man that's has not been taught the true change of what has happen. for the eyes of that man will not look past the blood of the covenant and see what God has removed. So the answer is yes. By the act of the christ given as a gift to all men.

Jesus Christ was the only human without sin. We all have sinned since the beginning when Adam and Eve made the horrible mistake of eating the fruit in the garden. So we all sin and we all die because of what happened int he beginning. It is not possible as of now for us as humans to live without sin but if we are repentant for what we have done then God will forgive us and accept that.

In Islam we born without Sin after age of puberty if sin it will be recorded. we are prone for an error as a human beings but what is important its not how much you sin its all about how much repentant to God.

Repent and promise not to do it again.

Prophets were sinless in Islam but they have made mistakes(mistakes: unintentional no a sin)

No original sin:"The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father...)(Ezekiel18:20)

Yes,one can live without sin.In the sense that when one's mind, thoughts and imagination center on heavenly things, the hope of eternal life, how Jesus suffered for one.And also when one isn't much interested in the things of the world knowing fully well that they are only but temporal. When these listed above are done,i don't think anything on earth could bring sins.THOSE WHO ARE TRULY BELIEVERS OF THE GOSPEL KNOW THE REALITIES OF LIVING WITHOUT SINS.In addition, the major way of living without sin is being filled with the holy spirit who delights in holiness. All these things are meaningful if you believe that God exists.

If someone did not sin, or make mistakes, then what would they be learning from? How do you define purity or perfection without impurity and imperfections.

Sin is an immoral act right? Then it depends on you morals, if your morals are based on everything in the bible then no human is without sin.

My basic moral in life is to make mistakes, and learn from them. Be a better person because of them. And i feel that this is achievable.

Well when you accept the LORD God Jesus Christ as your personal LORD God and Savior, sin is no longer an issue between you and God. However when you sin you fling wide the gates of hell and invite satan and his demons in to eat your lunch and pop the bag. satan will take you further than you want to go, keep you longer than you want to stay and make you pay more than your willing to pay. And there are physical world consequences to your actions as well. But you never lose right standing with God because you are justified through the LORD God Jesus Christ.

No. Romans 3:23 states that ALL have sinned. Isaiah says we have ALL gone astray.

    I like your poem.
