The driver's side mirror was broken on my '01 Sebring convertible.?
Do I need to take the inner door panel off in order to replace the mirror unit? If so, is there a simple way of doing that

Yes you have to take off the door panel the simple way is to pull really hard on it. This will break though so I suggest that you just take your time make sure you get all of the screws out and gently pull on it as to not break the clips.
