How would you interpret this message?
Ok so let me explain shortly.
I messed up in my last relationship because i got scared and my ex broke up with me.Later on i asked him to forgive me and he reply with this message:
You know i felt really good with you and you are a sweet woman able to make any men happy.I want you to know that you are in my heart, but there are things only time can solve, and i don't want to get hurt or hurt you.Kisses to a beautiful person.
So what do you think?he still likes me but is asking for time?or does he only wants to be friends?

Clearly you left little footprints on his heart. So he sounds like he wants to give it time to see if he can forgive you (whatever you did must have been really big). I do think he still likes you, but it's on very shaky ground. Give him some time and space. But honestly, don't get your hopes up on this.

I think the first answer is exactly right, he's telling you he doesn't want to try again but is doing it in a very nice, respectable way.

You hurt him deeply and he's smart enough not to give you the chance to do it again. He's being amazingly nice about it. It basically means leave him alone for the time being.
