As far as I can tell, John's surname was Philbeck and he married Sarah Wilkerson. John was born c. 1800 in NC and died 1872 in Cleveland County, NC. Sarah was born c. 1801 in NC and died 1884 in Cleveland County, NC. The name of Sarah's mother was Mary "Polly", but her maiden surname is unknown. The name of Sarah's father is unknown. I'm not certain about where you obtained the Gray surname, unless I've found the wrong couple.
