As the others have said already, it's about the club and everything else comes second.
They wouldn't do anything to destroy the club but they can still voice their disapproval in a way that ensures that their voices are heard without harming the club that they love with such passion.

We go to watch and support the team i would never abandoned the team due to some stupid yanks who cant run a football club

Man Utd fans go to games to support their team and watch them play.

I can understand them still going to the games but to fork out on each season's new kit would seem somewhat hypocritical.
