Credit to Michael Savage for pointing out that such a show of force in India has an element of gunboat diplomacy in it. Such Naval power is not necessary to protect the President. My National Security Adviser (not Savage) has pointed out to me that one of the reasons the world continues to buy our worthless National bonds is because they figure we have one strong card left: our military. Meaning they figure we will find a way to get what we need, so the bonds will probably be paid.
So base still ours, although that's about all we've got.
