Is John Boehner the right man to replace Nanzi Pelozi as Speaker of the House?

Does he have the manhood to do things like pulling the "deemed to have passed" stunt Pelozi used to pass Obamacare in the first place? Or is he going to be another one of those faux conservative, limp wristed compromisers?

He's as much the "establishment" as any other in Washington. I thought one message out of this past election was to get the old guard out. Now, they will make Boehner speaker.

Same old rhetoric. Same old results.

Yes, Boehner is the ideal replacement for no brainer Nancy. I seriously doubt that the remaining losers in Congress will maintain her as their minority leader, but if they do it's OK, they have already lost most of the credibility they had by following her in the first place.

I'm in regular e-mail correspondence with John Boehner (It's a mass e-mail, not a personal one). He appears to be genuine. Like all things, we'll need to wait and see. As a minority speaker, he did hold the folks together. Again...wait and see.

Boehner is a GobGop: a Good Old Boy of the Grand Old Party. The GobGops support Big Business, Big Pharma, Big Oil, and Big Banking and I am sure he will do his best for them.

First time I realized who John Boehner was he was crying on the House floor pleading with Republicans to pass the bank bailout and save America. He is a corporatist puppet.

Since I'm from MI let me tell you Boehner is going to fit right in with the likes of Pelosi, McConnel, Reid and the Tan Man.

He cares only about himself and what is good for those who fund his campaigns.
