What are some recent horror movies that have an excessive amount of special effects? And recent horror movies with barely, or none, at all?

By the way, by "recent" I mean 2000+

    The best bet is use LOTS of fake blood to cover the effect, good camera angles to cover up and short comings and quick editing that doesn't linger.
