which is the best photoshop software out there?

    The best Adobe Photoshop version is CS5, but it is too high on resources and also a bit costlier than the older versions(CS2-CS4) Can you specify your System Processor, RAM and OS if possible?

    You could also look at an opensource alternative ... like gimp. It's capable of doing much of the same photo/image editing of photoshop ... though at a much lower price. $0.

    CS5.

    however, depending on what you are doing, the cheaper CS3 and CS4 softwares are simple to use and you can perform many tasks efficantly.
