How to be a FAN of someone here? ... I give up!?
I see that I have three fans ... cool ... but I CANNOT for the life of me find the button to be someone else's fan.

All you have to do is click on someone's avatar and then click "Add as Contact." If that person allows contacts, you will get a window that says, "Such and such a person has been added successfully to your contact list." That person will then receive an e-mail from Answers saying that you have connected to them and if they want, they are given a link in that e-mail which allows them in turn to add you to their contact list. As you said, you have three people who are your fans. This means they have added you as a contact. You can click on each of their avatars and click on Add as a Contact and return the favor.

Hover over their avatars and on their pages click Add Contact.
Read to see if they will accept contacts.
