I believe the referee didn't stop the fight because he wanted to give Margarito and his corner the oppurtunity to finish the fight or stop it themselves. The towel should have been thrown in in the 9th round, maybe earlier, but Margarito has a lot of pride and finished it out.

it is the referee's fault...if he stopped the fight at the 9th...damages must have been prevented

that ref is the same ref during the first pac/barerra match wherein he called a knockdown when pac slipped and called it a slip when pac knocked barerra down..obviously that id!ot doesnt like pac...

and i'm sure it is the last time he'll earn bigtime from manny's fights.
