what does it mean when a teenage boy tells you all the time "we're going to get married"?

So, I've only been going out with my boyfriend for about 4 months.. but he always says "we're going to get married," and at first I was a bit creeped out because usually I am not the sort of person who has relationships and everything planned out and stuff, but he says it so frequently and you know when someone says things often you start to believe it?

yea, pretty much i wanna know why boys would say that to girls...

p.s im 16, he's 17- so it's way to early to be thinking about marriage.. :S

One reason may be to make himself seem sweet to get some bed action. But if he isn't that kind of guy, he may just be saying what he is thinking, because you know how woman sort of say something, but mean the total opposite? Boys don't, so just talk to him about it.

its a common used phrase that means that he feels like the relationship is moving too quickly. He's obviously not happy with the situation right now so he things the only way to get better is to break up for a little while. either that or he was just letting her off easy because he doesn't like her anymore..

It means he likes you a lot, possibly loves you. It also means he's part delusional, because, as you said, way too early to be thinking about marriage

lol i hardly doubt its for bed action, if you get married their wont be any.

he's probably either super in love with you or he's a ****** clingy bastard.
