How do you make something on a Word Doc. a 1/2 inch from the top of the paper?
the title is an inch from the top and i want to put the page number a 1/2 inch from the top of the page in the upper right hand corner, how do i change it? microsoft word 2007

If you want to put page numbers on, you probably also want them to change from page to page. For that, you need a page header. Here's how to get one (and it'll be 1/2 inch from the top of the paper):
1. On the Insert tab of the Ribbon, click Page Number in the Header and Footer group.
2. Select Top of Page and pick a format.
To add text to the header, double click in the header on the first page and enter the text. Double click outside the header to get out.

Print preview. Page setup. Margins. And change top to .5
