i've been on other boards talking about this all morning and last night.

i dont like the new name, i dont like any name that copies the name of another club.

i dont like the new main logo (the one with the gradients).

the 3 color logo is a little better.

the new kits look pretty good, however the light blue with a collar looks too much like colorado's kits.

i'm not going to run out and buy new gear. i think i am going to wear my wizards away jersey to home games next year.

all that being said, it's just a name, i am still going to support the club. ongoal has been very good to us in their short tenure as owners and i still like them even though i disagree with this move. the fans are still going to call them the wizards.

one last thought- i loved mlsrumors quip for sporting kansas city's moto:

sporting kansas city- just like the real sporting we beat manchester united once

I like it Wizards is just too cheesy sounding(besides we already have Washignton Wizards).

Sporting sounds like a team you don't want to mess with, and Omar Bravo will tear it up next season i hope. I'm a Galaxy fan but a little jealous that they have him on that team. Plus no more of that crappy stadium, thank goodness

I definitely like the new name. The new jerseys are cool too. Ohh. And the new stadium is beautiful also.

Soccer is coming up in the U.S. And I'm loving every minute of it.

    I feel dead inside.

Nah, actually this is much more "big league" than those goofy names they give teams in MLS.
