it can be. perhaps she has low self esteem and thinks she needs to lie for approval. pathological liars lie about nearly everything. if she just lies about small things, I'd think it was personality, not psychological.

Maybe it's a psychological disorder .Get her to the Clinical Psychologist before the things become
worse. She may be hiding something ,and a well-known Psychologist may help you with BEHAVIORAL COUNSELLING or some other.

lying is not a disorder its just a defense mechanism mostly involuntary but if ur gf is doing it regularly then she must be hiding something from you
its better to confront her before things get messy
