In what way is refusing to meet with the Pres. of the US "acting like adults" - ?

It isn't. It's petty and stupid.

Seems the "big" Dems, Pelosi and Reid are going to try and make an end run, like "always" to introduce for approval, the 2 most controversial Bills in Congress. The Dream Act and DADT. They have like ussual, made it clear they know they won't get it passed after the new Congress comes in and that's becuase they DON'T want to have to debate it on the floor. These are 2 Special Interest groups, that will NOT bring our economy under control, while 12 Appropriations Bills, sitting around since last JANUARY, remain unresolved.

SO rather than meet with Obama the Repubs are waiting to see what his two minions will attempt to "push" on the public. Obama is the true coward in all this. He could hold off until the new Congress comes in and have FAIR and OPEN discussions, but no. He supports the "behind the back" moronic attitudes that cost the Dems some serious defeat. They've scheduled a meeting for Nov 29, but don't expect that either if these 2 imbeciles push these Bills.

That is ONLY for when a Conservative occupies the office.

It is the same with "mandates"...when the people vote Conservatives into power that means the people have given the Conservatives a mandate to take care of wealthy Americans.

But when the people vote Liberals into power that means that the American people are a bunch of stupid idiots, or the vote was rigged and anything the Liberals want to do should be obstructed because that is what the REAL Americans (rich conservatives) want them to do.

Watch what happens after Obama wins re-election, the Cons won't say a word about mandates.

Unfortunately this seems to be how they are playing it. Treating others as they were treated. It's not a good sign. The blame though can't be simply put on them. Someone needs to step up and be the adult to get the ball rolling and so far, all three. The rep, the Dem's, and the pres. Have all been more concerned about showing that they are the ones in control as opposed to showing they are willing to work together. This isn't any one group or individuals fault, it's all of them.

I would seem to fall under the same general category as burning the flag or urinating on it. You have the right to do it, but people have the right to think of you what they will when you do.

Well when you have a president that acts like Obama does (smug), it's no surprise someone would refuse to meet with him.

Look you can go into any inner city and meet a Community Organizer without a lot of fanfare and its easier..
