WHAT IS THE BEST BIKE TIRE FOR ME?

I have a 27' Miyata road bike, and I want the best of all worlds in a tire,(I know, impossible, right?) Durability, low rolling resistance/ speed, puncture resistance, and comfort. I am looking at the Continental Ultra Gatorskin, what do you think? Or if you can suggest a better tire, Thanks

I doubt the frame size on your bike is 27". I'm guessing you mean tire size 27 X 1-1/4". Yes - those Continental Ultra Gatorskin tires are good & get good reviews on-line everywhere. Personally, I can not think of a better tire off the top of my head.

See all the good reviews on Amazon.com...

I use Continental Gatorskins on one of my cycles, and I think they are the best tyres I've used for general riding on the road.

I did get a puncture in one when I rode over a curved piece of glass at night, and it went through the sidewall, but apart from pinch flats when the pressures go down too low I've had no other problems with them.

Thats a fine tire. Also check out the Bontrager race lite Hardcase series...i rode those for years and years before I woke up to the wonderful world of fat tire bikes.....
