Looks to me like your question is another conservative rant and misrepresentation. Palin is not an "activist" she is a politician. Even though she has sold out to the corporate media, she still considers herself to be a viable candidate for the 2012 election...That is a politician. Maybe it's just your ignorance and simple conservative mind that doesn't understand this.

Haven't seen much regarding misrepresentation. But the reason for all of the liberal rants is that the right wing has done so much damage to rant about. Was going to list just a few bad things the Repubs have done recently, but it got too long for this space. Suffice it to say it all stemmed from their basic beliefs: GOOD: Guns,war,corporations,secret unlimited campaign donations,rich people, pre-emptive war, oil, fear mongering

BAD: peace, negotiations, United Nations, food for the poor, social security, health care, clean air, the environment, and the truth. Which side are you on?

I would say that it is for the same reason that politics is full of conservative rants and misrepresentations. Each side believes they are right and they are not above rants and lies to plead their case. I really thought this would be obvious to all except for the most incapable of us to reason and apply logic.
