UK have you had anything go missing in the post?

only they tell me it's my fault for not posting it as registered.

Update:

I would have used recorded, but for the fact that we only have the one post office now, where there once were four. On benefits day, which is everyday except Saturday, it takes an hour to get to the counter and i just don't have the time.

    I haven't had anything missing for ages but if I am sending something important then I send it "Recorded...Signed for."
