Does a physician have to prescribe diabetes test strips?
Do I have to have a doctor prescription for test strips (blood sugar) or can I buy it online from Canada? (I don't have health ins. and can't afford any right now?.

meters, test strips, and insulin do not require prescriptions. Needles require a prescription in most states.
Talk to a pharmacist.
If you think you might have diabetes, this is a bad way to test. These tests are good for managing diabetes, not testing if you have diabetes. If you want to test for diabetes, you need an HB A1c test. Look up the American Diabetes Association. Groups are always doing free tests.
