I'm not sure I get the reference.
Christmas is a secular holiday, so it's not analagous to Hanukkah, which is a Jewish holiday.

"Christmas" was ripped off from the pagans by the Church in the fifth century, to get more converts. It is a mish-mosh of traditions and beliefs from Yule, Sol Invictus, and Saturnalia. The only thing "Christian" about it is that the Christians moved the "birthdate" of their supposed savior to a more convenient one; a date already used to celebrate a number of pagan savior-figures and deities, as there are at least a dozen who claimed December 25th as a holy or birth date.
"Christmas" is now a secular commercial holiday, hijacked by retailers, which is rather fitting considering how it was first snagged by the Christians.
