7 - Green Bay (SB 1,2), Miami (SB 7,8), Pittsburgh (SB 9,10 and SB 13,14), San Francisco (SB 23,24), Dallas (SB 27,28), Denver (SB32,33), and New England (SB 38,39)

44 Super Bowls, 8 times the previous champion repeated, 3 times the previous champion lost the SB, 32 times they didn't make it back to the SB.

Green Bay won the first ever Super Bowl 35-10 over the Chiefs and then won the second ever Super Bowl 33-14 over the Raiders.

The Miami Dolphins completed the only perfect season in NFL history with a 14-7 win in Super Bowl VII over the Redskins. The very next year they won Super Bowl VIII 24-7 over the Vikings

Right after the Dolphins won 2-in-a-row the Steelers responded with 2 of their own in Super Bowl IX and Super Bowl X. Winning 16-6 over the Vikings and 21-17 over the Cowboys respectively.

2 years removed from thier last back-to-back acheivment the Steelers did it again winning Super Bowl XIII 35-31 over the Cowboys and 31-19 over the Rams

Having already won 2 Super Bowls the legendary Joe Montana would win 2 more. This time the 2 wins were back-to-back. San Francisco won Super Bowl XXIII 20-16 over the Bengals with the game winning TD scored with just 35 seconds left in the game. Then next season Super Bowl XXIV was the biggest blowout in Super Bowl history with the 49ers beating down the Broncos 55-10.

The Dallas Cowboys won Super Bowl XXVII and XXVIII 52-17 and 30-13 respectively both against Buffalo thus making Buffalo the only team to make it to 4 straight Super Bowls but lose all 4.

After sharing the horrible record of 0-4 in Super Bowls with Buffalo and Minnesota the Broncos won their first ever Super Bowl in 5 appearences with a 31-24 win over Green Bay in Super Bowl XXXII. John Elway would lead his team back the very next year for the repeat win 34-19 over the Falcons in Super Bowl XXXIII.

The Patriots were the last of the bunch to ever repeat winning Super Bowl XXXVIII 32-29 over the Panthers and Super Bowl XXXIX 24-21 over the Eagles.

So 7 teams have repeated on 8 different occasions.
