How do you 'warm up' a hybrid car in the winter?
So if you drive a hybrid car and live in a cold climate and have to park out doors how do you warm up the inside of the car before you drive anywhere?
Is there an electric heater that will operate but it eats up battery energy so you will end up running on the gas engine more?
How about AC in summer? Does that also run off the batteries without the engine running?
You would think both of those things would pretty much ruin the economy of the hybrid. May work great if you live somewhere its 70* year round.

Squeaky is completely wrong. If you do not warm up your car you risk throwing a rob (blowing the engine). You start the car as normal and it will warm up.

No passenger vehicle should be "warmed up." That's an unnecessary, polluting practice of the past.
And ildling beyond 2.5 mins is a violation w/ a penalty of $250 in some areas, and yes, that includes gasoline engines.
