Gulf hammock rat snakes...?

So I'm sitting around looking at my gulf hammock rat and my father's everglades rat and having brainstorms. The everglades is a definite male (retired breeder my father got at the expo year before last), my gulf hammock is supposedly a female (sorry, haven't really gotten around to tail comparisons, just figure when she's sexually mature she'll start dropping duds like my bull does)... anyway, I know it's rare to even come across a gulf hammock in the pet trade, but do any of our more experienced answerers have any opinions on how purty the potential offspring would be? Or would I do better trying my pretty pretty gray rat when she grows up?

Just rhetorical at this point, I'd have a lot of prepwork to do before I even started seriously thinking about it, not to mention my gray is only two years old and if she's lucky only half the size of the everglades...

Update:

Some might... but the way I see it is gulf hammocks are a natural intergrade between yellows and greys, so what's the harm in taking two exceptional examples of both (regardless of the fact that an everglades phase would never come across a grey rat in the wild) and seeing what happens? I've got no plans on going into big-time breeding like some of our other major answerers (no offense intended, of course, if it weren't for responsible breeders, we'd still be getting all our herps from the wild) I just find it kinda sad that I can't say that I ever saw a gulf hammock rat at all until this one pretty much literally ended up on my doorstep and the guy who couldn't keep it didn't even know what it was. (It actually ended up being brought into the pet store I used to help at and they called me to ask if I'd like it, cage and everything, can't pass up a free snake with a cage that needs a good home)... one of the biggest reptile expos in the country is just down the road from me and I've be

Update 2:

(continued) been going since I was a kid and have never seen a gulf hammock there, and very rarely do you even see everglades rats... anyway, I'm rambly, so I'll stop now.

You'd have an interesting combination by breeding. Some would argue that is unethical. I believe snake can and do interbreed in the wild.

I crossed my pyromelana kingsnake (Az Mountain) to a flawless female mex mex (San Lois Potosi and had gorgeous heartstopping babies.
